To celebrate the building technologies that are revolutionizing the process and product of architecture, ARCHITECT announces its Eighth Annual R+D Awards. The program honors innovative design and systems at every scale—from entire buildings to building systems, discrete products and materials, and digital tools such as software, cloud-based platforms, and mobile apps.
The R+D Awards welcome entries of all types to encourage the broadest possible dialogue among architects, engineers, manufacturers, researchers, students, and designers of all disciplines. Past winners have included small firms, large firms, individuals, educators, fabricators, manufacturers, and everyone in between.
Our distinguished jury of industry leaders, innovators, and makers will be announced shortly. In the meantime, register and prepare your submissions—a one-page abstract bound to the images and thoughtful text needed to tell your entry’s story. Keep it simple. Make it compelling.
Get your entry out the door by Friday, April 18, and pay $175 to register the first entry, and $95 for each subsequent entry. If you need a few extra days, the fee goes up by $50. No deadline extensions are anticipated.
