From July through August 2008, Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design will hold its summer program of executive education courses in architecture, design, and building sciencefor architects, design professionals, real estate leaders, government officials, policymakers, and others. Programs ranging from one to several days in length are led by noted university faculty, as well as by visiting practitioners and scholars.
In the subjects of Design Ideas and Technologies, course topics include architectural photography, designing with software, and universal design. Design and Planning offerings include a course on designing in a depressed market (led by Jeremiah Eck, FAIA; Duo Dickenson, AIA; J. Carson Looney, FAIA; Dale Mulfinger, FAIA, and others), as well as college and university housing, sustainability, design for seniors, and building performance, among many others.
