Charting Growth at the AIA Convention

AIA

In just a little over a decade, the number of attendees at the AIA’s annual convention—measured by the amount of badges printed—has grown almost fourfold, from 5,295 in 1995 to 19,950 this past May. (The 2008 number was unofficial at press time, as the audit was not yet complete.) If you’re wondering about that near doubling of registrations in 1998, well, that’s the year the AIA began enforcing its mandatory continuing education requirements.
