aia to recognize diversity best practices

1 MIN READ

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has issued a call for submissions for its newly created Diversity Recognition Program, which will recognize architects or firms for exemplary commitment and contributions to diversifying the architecture profession. The program’s jury will honor up to 12 examples of diversity best practices annually.

Information about the Diversity Recognition Program, as well as entry guidelines and topics for submittals, are available here. All submissions must be received by Sept. 15, 2008.

Honored firms will be featured in AIA publications, included in the AIA Best Practices library, publicly acknowledged at AIA National Convention events, and featured in a “Celebration of Diversity in Architecture” poster.
