10 Recipients Announced for the 2018 Jason Pettigrew Memorial ARE Scholarship

The award supports associate AIA members with the Architect Registration Examination.

Ten associate members of the American Institute of Architects have been selected to receive the Architects Foundation’s Jason Pettigrew Memorial ARE Scholarship, which provides preparation materials for the Architect Registration Examination and financial assistance for the cost of the exam. This year’s recipients are: Jose Barajas, Assoc. AIA, from Spokane, Wash.; Geraldene Blackgoat, Assoc. AIA, from Albuquerque, N.M.; Maya Bird-Murphy, Assoc. AIA, from Chicago; Tiffany Brown, Assoc. AIA, from Detroit; Denise Everson, Assoc. AIA, from Washington, D.C.; Sergio Legon-Talamoni, Assoc. AIA, from Seattle; Isela Martinez, Assoc. AIA, from Hampstead, N.C.; Deborah Perez, Assoc. AIA, from Bajadero, Puerto Rico; and Robyn Savacool, Assoc. AIA, from Hamilton, N.J.; and Sarah Young, Assoc. AIA, from Lafayette, La.
