    This lounge chair was inspired by the rigors of competitive sailing, where winning or losing hinges on the quality of a boat’s construction and high-tech sail materials.

    In shipbuilding, the keel is the boat’s backbone, essential to stability. Industrial designers Jeffrey Bernett and Nicholas Dodziuk created the Keel Lounge Chair for Teknion Studio to represent the shipbuilding industry’s emphasis on good construction. Created for contract and hospitality applications, the chair complements the company’s Spectrum Lounge Series and Fractals Seating Group. It features bright chrome supports and measure 30-1/2" tall by 28" wide and 27" deep. www.teknion.com
