ILEX Architectural Lighting Makes Acquisition
ILEX Architectural Lighting, known for its decorative yet energy-efficient lighting solutions for the hospitality and commercial markets, has acquired Boston area-based Davis/Muller Lighting. Originally founded by product designers, Scott Davis and Henry Muller, the company is known for its full line of specification grade decorative bowls, sconces, pendants, and ceiling-mount fixtures. Davis/Muller Lighting sales and distribution operations will remain independent, but all manufacturing activities will relocate to ILEX's 72,000-square-foot Taunton, Mass., facility. The acquisition will help Ilex expand its presence in the commercial and hospitality markets.
