Internationally renowned, the agency MANUELLE GAUTRAND ARCHITECTURE, was founded in 1991 and is based in Paris, France. Since its creation in 1991, the agency has carried out numerous buildings for large public and private clients, in France and abroad, in fields as diverse as cultural facilities (theaters, museums, cultural center), offices, housing, hotels, retails and leisure facilities, etc. The most important projects of the practice are the “C42” the flagship showroom of Citroën Automobiles Firm on the Champs-Elysées in Paris which has given the agency an international and general public reknown, the former theater of “Gaité Lyrique” in Paris, fully transformed to become a place dedicated to digital culture, the "LAM" – Museum of Modern Art and Outsider Art in Lille and the “Cité des Affaires” in Saint-Etienne. Manuelle Gautrand’s work has been recognized by many national and international architectural awards. Refusing to lock in an architectural style or type of program, Manual Gautrand claims "the luxury of being unaccustomed" in her architectural production and seeks to re-enchant our environment.
