Architects of the 27 award-winning Heathrow Terminal 2 (London), the practice has offices across Spain, Great Britain, Dominican Republic, Chile and the United States, in which an international workforce of over 150 architects coexists with a strong background and experience in diverse disciplines and scales (planning, building and industrial design) expressed in more than 200 projects. The studio is internationally recognized for its expertise in airport and hospital design, having become one of the leading and most innovative practices committed to the search for functional and flexible design offering responsible and quality designs as an answer to the urban and social challenges of today. Some of the firm’s most representative are Heathrow Terminal 2 in London, recognized as the best airport Worldwide in the International Air transport Awards (ATW) 2015 and The Best Public Building of the World 2014-2015 and first airport in the world to obtain the BREEAM Excellent rating; Castellana 77 in Madrid (Best Office Architecture at the European Property Awards); Vigo’s New Hospital in Galicia (Winner of the Design & Health International Awards 2012 Future Health Project category, and with a BREEAM certification), Can Misses Hospital (Property Award), Campus Palmas Altas, (Seville) and headquarters to Abengoa, (Winner of the RIBA Award 2010 certified Leed Platinum) in co-authorship with RSHP.
