2009 AIA GOLD MEDAL: The London-born, Australia-based solo practicioner has impacted the profession’s landscape on an interntional level. His design ethos has long had an environmental bent while considering projects’ economics and multifuncitionality. In 2002, he was awarded the Pritzker Prize.
