Eric Colbert & Associates was founded by Eric Colbert in 1981 and is based in Washington, DC. The firm maintains an outstanding reputation in the design, development and preservations communities, resulting from a firm commitment to ensuring successful well-designed buildings regardless of project size, type, or location. Eric Colbert & Associates has completed more residential projects in the Washington area than any other architectural firm in the last 25 years, and recent projects have consistently achieved LEED Accreditation. The majority of the firm’s work is in urban neighborhoods and historic districts – the work is comprised of both new construction and additions with adaptive re-use of the existing structures. The firm’s work has made significant contributions to up and coming neighborhoods such as the 14th Street corridor.
