Büro Ole Scheeren is an international architecture firm that practices architecture, urbanism, interior design, and research.

Büro Ole Scheeren has a team of seventy plus international architects and designers working together worldwide.

Through its intensely involved and focused practice, Büro Ole Scheeren applies critical thinking to a process that extends beyond the boundaries of architectural production to realize specific and unexpected solutions. It seeks to engage people and cultures, technologies and materials, psychologies and experiences, and recognizes architecture as a connective and fundamentally social construct. Architecture is imagined as a matrix of hybrid narratives from which to construct future realities – conceptual, spatial, and experiential – and a rigorous search for new potentials to realize specific unexpected solutions inhabited by the lives of people and cities.

Büro Ole Scheeren’s work ranges from city-defining structures to cultural buildings, including the Guardian Art Center in Beijing, the mixed-use DUO in Singapore, and the MahaNakhon tower in Bangkok, which are currently all under construction. Further projects under development include, amongst others, Angkasa Raya in Kuala Lumpur awaiting to commence construction, as well as a residential development on the coastline of South China, a large-scale urban redevelopment in the city center of Shenzhen, and a new high-rise residential tower in downtown Vancouver.

Through Studio Ole Scheeren, the office engages in non-architectural projects and interventions – from cultural art exhibition and installation design; graphic design and identity/positioning; interactive design and user experience; to topical research and cultural analysis – for Büro Ole Scheeren’s architectural works as well as separately commissioned studies on urbanism, design, and innovation.
