Zaha Gets the Treatment

Google celebrates Zaha Hadid in today's Google Doodle.

www.google.com

If you visit the Google homepage today, you’ll encounter a familiar face. The late Zaha Hadid, Pritzker Prize-winner, provocateur, and fashion icon, joins Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King, Jr., Florence Nightingale, and other figures who have been commemorated with an illustration, or Google Doodle, that temporarily replaces the company’s famous logo. Other architects who have appeared on the home page include Frank Lloyd Wright and Charles Rennie Mackintosh. In the doodle, Hadid appears in front of her Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan, which opened in 2013.
