A cutesy video, “The ABC of Architects,” animates an alphabetical list of some of the most important architects and their best-known buildings. Accompanied by a jaunty little tune, the video highlights famous names and designs from around the world—beginning with Alvar Aalto (Säynätsalo Town Hall, Finland) and closing with Zaha Hadid (Pierresvives, France). Andrea Stinga and Federico Gonzalez created the concept and animation, and Gonzalez provided art direction. The delightful little video is a companion to Ombu Architecture, a beautiful, image-driven Tumblr by Stinga, based in Spain, and another architect, Maria Eugenia Amarilla, based in Argentina. We hope it becomes a kindergarten staple.
