As part of their Highways to Boulevards initiative, the Congress for the New Urbanism and the Center for Neighborhood Technology have released “Freeways Without Futures,” a list of the top 10 places across the nation that offer the best opportunities for urban revitalization through the replacement of deteriorating highways with walkable boulevards and denser development.
