UPenn’s Levin Building Biomorphic Facade

For this year’s AL Light & Architecture Design Awards, our sister lighting publication gave out a Special Citation to SmithGroupJJR for its Stephen A. Levin Building at the University of Pennsylvania for its “Façade’s Treatment and Modulation of Light.” Writes editor-in-chief Elizabeth Donoff: “Home to the departments of biology and psychology, the building is intended to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between the students and faculty members of those disciplines.
