The Springfield Art Museum has selected BNIM to design a master plan for the Missouri institution. Established in 1928, the city-owned, free-admission museum includes a 10,000-piece collection of American, Asian, and European art. An RFQ for the project released in August of last year called for updates to the 1958 Education Wing as well as the current building and grounds. The museum expects final concept designs this spring.
