"D-Train" by Richard Estes, 1988.

Known for his hyper-realistic works, Estes will display artwork featuring pristine urban settings. Though they are meant to represent reality, his depictions of cityscapes have an eery void of inhabitants. ”Urban Landscapes” features two large-scale screen prints: “D-Train” and “Holland Hotel” (both shown above), as well as a selection of smaller screen prints and oil paintings.

"Aten Reign" by James Turrell, 2015.

“Aten Reign” (shown above) will display a print edition of the eponymous, 79-foot-tall, fabric and aluminum installation that was displayed at the Guggenheim Museum in New York in 2013. “Turrell is a master at manipulating light so that it appears to take on a material quality, and that effect is fully expressed with ‘Aten Reign’ ” Aaron Seward wrote about the site-specific installation when it was displayed at the Guggenheim for ARCHITECT’s sister publication, Architectural Lighting. The video below explains the process for developing a print edition of the Guggenheim installation.

Both exhibitions will run through Feb. 26.
