Today the new Museum at the Gateway Arch held ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremonies to mark the opening at the iconic St. Louis structure. Designed by Cooper Robertson and James Carpenter Design Associates with Trivers Associates, the project included adding roughly 45,000 square feet to the museum as well as a glass entrance facing downtown. The museum expansion was part of the larger $380 million CityArchRiver project, which also included constructing new parkland over a highway.
