Snow Kreilich Architects

Last week, Minneapolis-based firm Julie Snow Architects officially changed its name to Snow Kreilich Architects, accommodating design principal Matthew Kreilich’s new identity as a partner at the firm. Ten years ago, Kreilich, AIA, joined the firm founded by Julie Snow, FAIA. He started out as an architect and became a design principal in 2009—the same year that he received the AIA Young Architects Award. In 2013, Kreilich was named among the “40 Under 40” list published by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

“To have contributed to the growth of the firm over the years and now to be part of the leadership is both an honor and responsibility I’ve embraced with enthusiasm,” said Kreilich in a press release.

Kreilich served as co-lead designer for the firm’s largest project to date, the U.S. Land Port of Entry in Van Buren, Maine. (It won an award in ARCHITECT’s 2013 Annual Design Review in the “Move” category.)

Other recent and upcoming projects for the firm include the Target Plaza Commons, the Metro Transit Police Station, the Saint Paul Saints Lowertown Ballpark, Campbell Mithun’s new Minneapolis headquarters, and a Delta Airlines Customer Engagement Center renovation.
