The Virtual Sample Book

Herman Miller

Herman Miller recently launched a new materials program that presents 1,600 samples in 15 books. The volumes are beautifully packaged, of course, but if the thought of thumbing through all those pages for the right textile, veneer, or translucent leaves you dismayed, cheer up: The company has created an equally lovely companion website that offers the same information. Search by product, material type, or material name; print the details of only those products you’re interested in; work on multiple projects at the same time; share your choices with co-workers and clients; and create folders to save your favorite items for future reference. Don’t worry about missing out on additions to the database—clicking on “What’s New?” will keep you up to date on the freshest products, colors, and textures. Leave the paper cuts behind.
