“HeartBeat” by Stereotank Opens in New York

The seventh annual Times Square Valentine Heart will be on display through March 8.

Through March 8, visitors to New York’s Times Square are encouraged to beat on a bright red heart sculpture called “HeartBeat.” Designed by Brooklyn’s Stereotank, the installation is this year’s Times Square Valentine Heart, a design competition hosted by the Times Square Alliance and, this year, the Architectural League of New York. “HeartBeat,” selected in December and opened Monday, is the seventh heart-themed sculpture in the program.
