Comcast Picks Gensler to Design Interiors of New Philadelphia Tower

The 1,121-foot-tall tower will house television stations, a Four Seasons hotel, and various office space.

Gensler

Gensler is joining the team working on the Comcast Innovation and Technology Center tower in Philadelphia. The firm will design interiors for the 1,121-foot-tall structure designed by London-based Foster + Partners, which will include offices for local television stations, a workspace for Comcast’s engineers, technologists, and software architects, and space for tech startups. Daroff Design is the design architect for the tower’s cafeteria. The tower also includes a Four Seasons hotel, which Gensler will not be designing.

Construction began on the $1.2 billion tower this summer, and it is expected to open in 2018.
