Casey Jones to Head GSA’s Design Excellence Program

1 MIN READ

Casey Jones, a principal of the consulting firm jones|kroloff, will be the next director of the General Services Administration’s Design Excellence Program, The Architect’s Newspaper reported last week. He would replace Thomas Grooms, the program’s current head. A spokeswoman for the GSA says the agency has no official comment on Jones’ appointment “at this time.”

Jones is familiar with Design Excellence, having previously worked in the program with its creator, former GSA chief architect Ed Feiner. A former associate director of the Van Alen Institute, Jones has also worked in architectural practices in Washington, D.C., and New York City.
