Last week, the annual summertime pavilions at two museums opened, an ocean apart. In New York, Spanish architect Andrés Jaque’s “Cosmo” opened at MoMA PS1, and two days later, the 2015 Serpentine Gallery Pavilion by Madrid’s SelgasCano opened in London. The Milan Expo 2015, filled with purpose-built pavilions, is also open through October. And for those visiting Washington, D.C., this summer, the National Building Museum is hosting “The Beach” by New York’s Snarkitecture, which opens on July 4.
