PEOPLE: owner, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center; LEED consultants, Fore Solutions, Portland, Maine, and the Integrative Design Collaborative, Arlington, Mass.; and commissioning agent, Synergy Consultants Inc., Wareham, MassGREEN POINTS: This 40,000-square-foot (3716-m2) building serves as a community center with support services, including a day-care center. It achieved LEED for Commercial Interiors Silver certification from the Washington, D.C.-based U.S. Green Building Council. Green attributes include energy and water savings, efficient lighting and improved IAQ through low-VOC materials. The building also has a roof garden.
