The companies share a community room. Materials, including wood, stone and glass, reflect the city’s integration of old and new. The space‘s lighting power density is 25 percent less than specified in the Atlanta-based American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers Inc.’s Standard 90.1-2004, “Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings.” About 90 percent of construction waste was diverted from landfills. An open plan and large windows allow daylight to infiltrate the showroom. The showroom received LEED for Commercial Interiors Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, Washington, D.C.
