AIA Selects 10 Firms for 2010 Small Project Awards

The AIA has named the winners of the 2010 Small Projects Awards. The awards, now in their sixth year, are designed to recognize practitioners who engage in small-scale design work, ranging from temporary installations to civic infrastructure. This year’s awards are presented in three categories: Small Project Objects (project budget up to $50,000), Small Project Structures (budget up to $500,000), and Architecture in the Public Interest. The 2010 award jury: Tom Howorth, Howorth & Associates; Kevin Harris, Kevin Harris and Associates; Camilo Parra, Parra Design Group; Thomas Fisher, dean, University of Minnesota College of Design; and David Miller, Miller Hull Partnership.
