AIA Housing Awards Entries Due Nov. 20

The institute is seeking submissions in four categories: one- and two-family custom residences, one- and two-family production homes, multifamily housing, and specialized housing.

The American Institute of Architects is seeking entries for the 2016 AIA Housing Awards competition. As in previous years, the awards span four categories: one- and two-family custom residences, one- and two-family production homes, multifamily housing, and specialized housing. To be eligible, projects need to have been finished after Jan. 1, 2011. The submission deadline is Nov. 20.

The jury for this year’s AIA Housing Awards includes jury chair Jamie Blosser, AIA, of Atkin Olshin Schade Architects; Ariella Cohen, the editor-in-chief of Next City; Kevin Harris, FAIA, of Kevin Harris Architect; David Lee, FAIA, of Stull and Lee; and Suman Sorg, FAIA, of Sorg Architects (which has merged with DLR Group).
