Rosa T. Sheng

Rosa T. Sheng, FAIA, is a San Francisco–based principal, higher education studio director, and director of equity, diversity, and inclusion at SmithGroup. A past president of AIA San Francisco and founder of the AIASF committee Equity by Design (EQxD), Sheng has led a variety of award-winning and internationally acclaimed projects throughout her career and helped launch a national movement for equitable practice in architecture. Her EQxD work, which includes surveys, programs, and outreach, has received national coverage from outlets that include ARCHITECT, Architectural Record, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, TEDxPhiladelphia and KQED/NPR.
