Curry J. Hackett

Curry J. Hackett is a designer, public artist, and educator. His work engages the intersections of Black Southern cultures, geography, and ecology, and has been featured in Bloomberg, Metropolis, Washington Post, and Travel Noire, among others. His ongoing research project, Drylongso, explores the relationships between Blackness and land, and has received funding from the Washington Project for the Arts, Journal of Architectural Education, and Graham Foundation. Currently, Curry is studying urban design at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. You can find him on Instagram @curryhackett.
