NGLIA Launches New Website

1 MIN READ

To better promote the understanding, implementation, and use of solid-state sources in specialty and general lighting systems, the Next Generation Lighting Industry Alliance (NGLIA) has launched a new website providing electroindustry professionals, government officials, and the public with information about solid-state lighting systems and the latest industry developments.

Formed in 2003 to foster an industry-government partnership to accelerate the technical foundation, and ultimate commercialization, of solid-state lighting systems, the alliance was designated in 2005 as an industry partner by the U.S. Department of Energy. The new website, says Kyle Pitsor, NEMA vice president of government relations, ‘acts as a great resource for information related to solid-state lighting, while accommodating the needs of NGLIA members.’
