These fire-resistant downlights are approved for one-hour and two-hour fire-rated ceiling assemblies, including wood joist, steel, concrete, suspended, or sheetrocked. Ready to install out of the box, the fixture’s features include: a 5/8-inch pre-assembled sheetrock enclosed housing and a 1/4-inch fire-retardant gasket on the bottom for protection to the downlight and upper floors. Decorative elements are also available.
