Product: Greenwork Babylone pendant fixture

1 MIN READ

Swedish design company Greenwork merges plantings with lighting in Babylone, a pendant globe fixture that can also act as an air cleaner and humidifier. Made from Plexiglas, the 500mm-diameter fixture with plants and a pumice base to hold water weighs 6kg to 8kg (13 lbs. to 18 lbs.), depending on the amount of plantings and water. Plants need only be watered every three weeks and can be trimmed through fixture openings. Babylone uses an E27 bulb—Greenwork recommends an 11W to 15W, 3000K to 4000K lamp—and operates on 220V; it will be available in the U.S. this summer. greenwork.se
