Swedish design company Greenwork merges plantings with lighting in Babylone, a pendant globe fixture that can also act as an air cleaner and humidifier. Made from Plexiglas, the 500mm-diameter fixture with plants and a pumice base to hold water weighs 6kg to 8kg (13 lbs. to 18 lbs.), depending on the amount of plantings and water. Plants need only be watered every three weeks and can be trimmed through fixture openings.
