Atlas Roofing Corp. Pristine Shingles featuring Scotchgard Protector

1 MIN READ

The Pristine architectural shingle line by Atlas Roofing Corp. offers an optional Scotchgard Protector layer to resist algae growth and preserve shingle color. The protection derives from granules coated in copper—a natural algae deterrent—with a ceramic topcoat that are uniformly distributed into the shingle surface. Shingles with Scotchgard protection have a lifetime limited warranty against discoloration due to algae. Available in 12 colors, the Pinnacle shingle (shown) in the Prestige line mimics the appearance of wood shakes. atlasroofing.com.

Note: This story has been updated since first publication to indicate that the Pinnacle shingle is within the Atlas Pristine shingle line, and that the shingles have a lifetime limited warranty against algae discoloration.
