Simpson Strong-Tie Strong Frame

1 MIN READ

Simpson Strong-Tie Co.’s Strong Frame is an ordinary moment frame that offers the same benefits of a one-story frame but can span up to 35′ high within a 2′ by 6′ wall space. Accommodating openings up to 18′ high per story and 24′ wide, the two-story ordinary moment frame is suited for applications with tall ceilings and expansive windows, as well as designs with space constraints or load requirements that exceed lateral-force-resisting options in traditional light-frame construction. All of its connections are bolted, and Strong Frame has a streamlined anchorage design and comes in hundreds of configurations. strongtie.com/strongframe
