Two Products That Give Back

1 MIN READ

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October , two manufacturers will donate proceeds from particular products to help support research and treatment for the disease that has affected approximately 2.5 million women in the U.S. alone.

grohe(120)Maker of luxury faucets and fittings, Grohe has partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to sponsor an initiative called HopeFlows. For every Ladylux3 Café or Ladylux3 Plus faucet purchased through a participating Grohe showroom in the U.S. or Canada, the company will donate $25 to BCRF. HopeFlows will continue until the company raises a quarter million dollars, which will be enough to fund one breast cancer research project for a year. Landylux3 brings an updated design to the original Ladylux—a single-spout, pull-down faucet—with features including dual spray, solid stainless steel construction, ceramic cartridge, several finish options, and a single lever handle.

pinksink(200)Decolav—maker of chic bathroom lavs, furniture, and accessories—created a special edition pink sink to promote breast cancer awareness. From October through the end of the year, 10 percent of the sales from this sink will be donated to breast cancer research. Part of the manufacturer’s “Translucence” collection, the basin-style lav is made of tinted tempered glass balanced on a stainless pedestal. Showrooms across the country will be selling the sink for the company’s suggested retail price of $275.
