Arkema Inc. has launched Kynar Aquatec fluoropolymer-modified acrylic resins, designed for cool-roof coatings and protective topcoats for exterior building products. The waterborne acrylic-modified PVDF fluoropolymer technology extends the lifespan of solar reflective roof coatings and extends long-term weather protection and stay-clean properties. The resins are supplied as aqueous latexes and can be field- or factory-applied.
