Mimicking a seagull in both form and function, the Seagull family of fixtures from QisDesign has “wings” that change position in accordance with desired light adjustment via a knob on the fixture’s main body. (A second knob on the body adjusts brightness.) The collection includes a table (shown), a floor, and a pendant fixture, all of which are lamped with LEDs. Each “wing” contains 72 LEDs, providing for maximum light output of 14W per fixture, but proprietary technology from QisDesign allows each fixture to remain almost cool to the touch. Silver is the only finish available. squarewalnut.com
