architectural preservation internship seeking applicants

1 MIN READ

The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach is accepting applications for the 2010 Anthony K. Baker internship from undergraduate and graduate students of architecture until April 1, 2010.

The internship program was established in 2009 to honor the late Anthony K. Baker, a long-time advocate of historic preservation, history, and architecture around the United States and a supporter of the foundation for more than 20 years. The six-week 2010 summer internship will provide guidance and support to students whose work will benefit the town of Palm Beach, Fla. Offering both scholarly and real-world design opportunities, the internship exposes students to challenging work in the office of an architectural firm, including assisting with urban planning and design, as well as documenting Palm Beach’s historic properties.
