Tin Ceilings Aid Acoustics

Tin Ceilings Aid Acoustics

Armstrong Ceilings has introduced MetalWorks Tin, which improve aesthetics and acoustics in a space. The ceiling panels are extra microperforated; perforations measure 0.7 mm in diameter so they are nearly invisible. When backed with a fiberglass infill, the perforations allow the ceiling panels to achieve a noise reduction coefficient of 0.85. They are available in 2- by 2-foot lay-in and tegular panels and 2- by 4-foot nail-up panels.
