Philips Acquires Teletrol Systems

Philips has acquired Teletrol Systems, a 37-employee Manchester, N.H.-based company who specializes in integrated solutions for multi-site management of lighting and energy usage. The Teletrol product portfolio will add to Philips’ existing lighting control solutions targeting institutional customers interested in network management solutions of lighting and building facilities, including heating and air conditioning. Teletrol’s operations will be incorporated into the Lighting Electronics group of the Philips Lighting sector. Financial details of this agreement were not disclosed.
