siematic makes a home in historic charleston, s.c.

On April 16, 2009, luxury kitchen manufacturer SieMatic will celebrate the official launch of its new showroom at 444 King Street, in the heart of Charleston, S.C.’s high-end district of upscale shops, restaurants, nightlife venues, and architecture and interior design offices. The showroom grand opening coincides with the Upper King Street Design District’s biannual Upper King Street Spring 2009 Design Walk, after a soft opening on March 23.

Situated inside a historic building, the 2,500-square-foot showroom blends old and new to provide an experience that showcases SieMatic’s products while reflecting the traditional southern sensibilities of Charleston. The showroom’s displays combine modern and classic kitchen collections using both contemporary and traditional finishes and background materials. Eric Slowik, CKD, a designer in the company’s New York City showroom, will manage the Charleston showroom.
