Appliance manufacturer Sub-Zero/Wolf, through its distribution arm Westye Group East, recently opened a 8,500-square-foot showroom on the fifth floor of the Architects &Designers Building in New York City. A tenant in the building since 1994, Sub-Zero/Wolf opted to double its showroom space by moving to the fifth floor when building management decided to dedicate the space exclusively to kitchen, appliance, and building products showrooms.
The state-of-the-art showroom features the manufacturer’s high-end collection of refrigerators, ovens, ranges, cooktops, and wine storage appliances. Cooking demonstrations and sit-down dinners for up to 60 guests can be held in the new showroom, which also houses a wine cellar that the company hopes will attract local oenophiles.
A grand opening reception was held at the showroom on Nov. 28, 2007, and featured an appearance by wine, food, and lifestyle personality Anthony Dias Blue.
