Robe Show Lighting s.r.o. has signed a licensing agreement with Martin Professional A/S allowing Robe and its affiliated companies to utilize several of Martin’s U.S. patents on gobo holder and animation wheel technology in its own Color Spot product series. As part of the agreement, Martin and its affiliated companies are entitled to utilize technology covered by one of Robe’s U.S. patents.
Also, Seoul Semiconductor and Osram GmbH have signed a patent cross-license agreement stating that the two LED manufacturers will share their patents pertaining to white and housing patents related to their white and visible LED technologies. The companies will work as strategic partners and will cooperate on defending cross-licensed patent rights.
