Project Description
Trustify’s new 8,000 SF Arlington office, located in Crystal City, is home base for the private investigator platform. The company connects a nationwide network of highly trained, vetted private investigators to those seeking the truth. Co-founders Jennifer Mellon and Danny Boice say their startup helps the most vulnerable through their “Uber for private investigators” technology. Simply, Trustify is changing the world one case at a time and helping people feel safe. “We’re 70 percent female at Trustify, and 40 percent identify as protected minority class,” says Boice. “Our team is about as diverse as it gets in tech startups, and every week we are helping clients who can’t help themselves. We are getting them out of bad situations.”
Trustify chose Wingate Hughes Architects to design a space that conveys “film-noir” mystery to match their culture and provides home-away-from-home comforts for their hard-working staff. “The reason why we go to work every day is because we believe when you design great space for a client, their mission is going to shine through, their company is going to be better, they’re going to be more successful, and they will change more lives,” shares Gavin Hughes Daniels, Wingate Hughes co-founding principal. “The important things that Trustify is doing for women, along with their social mission, is only the beginning. This is their launching point to change the world. This is the type of business we want to get behind and support.”
