Project Description
This community oriented HPD project focuses on reclaiming a long vacant lot for affordable housing and retail services in a fast changing South Bronx neighborhood. 106 apartments, including 40 dedicated for seniors, will be integrated with a variety of indoor and outdoor recreation and support spaces. A large fresh food market at the ground floor will serve both the residents and the surrounding neighborhood and space along 142nd Street will be made available for community events. The project was designed in collaboration with HAKS.
