Designed by Naples, Italy–based interior designer Lucia Carlomagno for Falper, this freestanding slipper vessel was inspired by 19th-century bathtubs and aims to recreate the comfort of a chaise lounge. Lancetta is manufactured from Cristalplant, a non-toxic, versatile material made from natural minerals, polyester, and acrylic polymers. It measures 74.8″ long, 39.7 wide, and 17.4″ to 28.7″ tall. Ayda Ayoubi is a former assistant editor of products and technology for ARCHITECT. She holds master degrees in urban ecological planning from Norwegian University of Science and Technology and in world heritage studies from Brandenburg University of Technology. In the past, she interned with UN-Habitat's New York liaison office and the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property in Rome.
