IIDA Names 2022 Global Excellence Awards Finalists

The following is a Dec. 12 press release from the Chicago-headquartered International Interior Design Association naming 26 finalists for its 2022 IIDA Global Excellence Awards.

IIDA is honored to announce the finalists of the 2022 IIDA Global Excellence Awards, which honor innovation and creativity in international interior design and interior architecture projects across 12 categories.

“This year’s finalists exemplified exceptional designs that continue to push the needle and will inspire for years to come,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “This competition highlights leading projects from around the world, and we look forward to both honoring the winners and seeing what’s next from each of these finalists.”

The finalists were selected by a jury of design experts, including Revel Architecture & Design Managing Principal, Sarah Devine, IIDA; Hickok Cole Associate Principal, Director of Interiors, Mike Johnson II, AIA, NOMA; Designworks, A BMW Group Company Director, Industrial Design, Los Angeles Studio, Johannes Lampela; Antunovich Associates Senior Principal, Director of Interior Design, Patricia Rotondo, IIDA,.

“Each project possesses captivating details and showcases a fresh take on how a range of spaces can and should be designed,” said Devine on the behalf of the jury. “The finalists redefine expectations and demonstrate how design continues to evolve across the globe.”
